The release catches me by surprise, wringing out laundry, water rushing through my fingertips. Finally, present in a moment. Australian music winding through me, the sand and water beyond, and the humble, home-making act of laundry on a Saturday.
My mind, in this moment, stops its racing, its planning, its plotting, its worrying. Releases, lets go, and all I am in this moment, with water on my fingertips and feet splayed on wood- momentarily grounded.
For a moment, life is succulent and sweet, complete with everything I crave.
